I’m not entirely sure what would happen if this goose had ever got anywhere near me but I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t have liked it. This goose spent its entire time looking angry until the boat moved off.

I always find herons to tuck themselves away behind reeds and get on with their business of catching fish but this one was willing to sit at let me photograph him.

This was a shot taken at a bird display when we were at a zoo. Quite an impressive wingspan and pure chance that I caught it like this feeling like it barely fits in the frame.
